Veteran Salute

You can make a difference.

Becoming a member of The American Legion means the world to our organization and to Veterans. Every day volunteers, members, and officers fight for Veteran programs, rights, and raise funds for our Veterans. Your membership helps continue the mission that began in 1919.

Membership is not only for those who have served. Check out membership criteria below and how to join.

Why Become a Member?

As a Veteran or a Spouse or Family Member of a Veteran, you have a lot to gain by joining the American Legion. Knowing you have a support system on your side is just one excellent reason. There are also loads of tangible benefits and programs to aid in medical, financial, mental, and emotional stress.

We also have members who join to be a part of something larger than themselves, get to know like-minded people, give back to  those who served and make the kind of lasting friendships that get them through the tough times.

Need more reasons? Check out these 'I AM LEGION' reasons online.
